June 27, 1946 to April 24, 2012

A bright light in the field of NLP (and in so many of our lives)
became a shooting star! Our friend and teacher, Tom Best,
officially left on April 24, 2012 as a result of a brain hemorrhage.
He passed suddenly and peacefully after an incredible weekend of teaching
and a quiet morning with Bobbi and their dogs.
May he blaze a new trail into higher worlds.

What do we do now?

“For the Love of Tom Best” Legacy Fund

Tom gave his heart over and over in many ways throughout his life. With the translation of his earthly body, he was also able to donate his physical heart.

Tom’s next gift will be through his words of wisdom and wit from over 27 years of training. The Legacy Fund will provide seed money for organizing and developing a media collection including CD’s, DVD’s, and books. Planting the seeds of an NLP scholarship program, to ensure NLP and other specialty trainings are accessible for those who would not otherwise get the chance, will be another one of the Legacy Fund projects.

In lieu of flowers or other traditional gifts, we would love to have you participate in preserving and making Tom’s teachings available. Woldwide Punco Celebrations

Tom Best helped to create many puncos or "pools of energy" all over the world. Many have expressed a desire to create a local ceremony in their community, a time to come together to honor the impact that Tom had on their lives, to send love in their own cultural and spiritual traditions to his wife, Bobbi, and other family and community members, and to begin to envision how to continue his work in their own lives. Bobbi loves this idea, and she knows Tom would be absolutely thrilled. She has one request – record them. If possible make video or audio recordings and send her a copy for her private review, to help heal her heart.

Memorial Celebration Meetup Group – Sunday, May 27th

The Texas Memorial Celebration for Tom Best is planned for the afternoon and evening of Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Alma de Mujer in Austin, Texas. We envision a day of events and activities … sharing food, discovering new friendships, reconnecting with old friends and plenty of time to explore the beautiful grounds of Alma de Mujer.

Special thanks to Cynthia Perez, Yvette Mendez, Modesta Trevino, Maria Elena Martinez, and all the Alma de Mujer board members, staff, and volunteers for so generously opening the grounds for this celebration.
